Grinnell Lake at Glacier NP

$1700.00

Quantity

X+

You can enjoy Glacier National Park by hiking an 8 mile trail that passes by the opaque turquoise Grinnell Lake.

I chose this trail in 2001, or you can take a shorter route by using a shuttle boat from the Many Glacier Motel.

The Lake, falls, mountain, and glacier is named after George Grinnell, an early American conservationist, explorer, and founder of the Audubon Society. First seen in 1885, he spent the next 2 decades working to establish it as a national park.
