The Sky Pond hike in the Rocky Mountain NP is challenging, but very rewarding.  It has a little of  everything - waterfalls, alpine lakes, high mountain views and glaciers.  Starting at 9,200', it reaches to 10,900' for a 10 mile round trip hike.  Its a strenuous trail, but it never gets boring.  Get an early start, taking approximately 6 hours to complete.
